Lisa M. Shul­man, MD, is pro­fes­sor of neu­rol­o­gy at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Mary­land School of Med­i­cine. She is a spe­cial­ist in move­ment and mem­o­ry dis­or­ders and a fed­er­al­ly-fund­ed inves­ti­ga­tor, study­ing the impact of chron­ic neu­ro­log­ic con­di­tions, includ­ing pre­dic­tors of bet­ter out­comes and well­be­ing. Dr. Shul­man is author or edi­tor of more than 200 books chap­ters and peer-reviewed publications.
