Rab­bi Margie Cel­la received rab­binic ordi­na­tion and an MA degree in Bible from the Jew­ish The­o­log­i­cal Sem­i­nary of Amer­i­ca in 2019, after retir­ing from teach­ing high school math­e­mat­ics. She holds an MA degree from SUNY Stony Brook and a BS degree from Hof­s­tra Uni­ver­si­ty and is a mem­ber of the Rab­bini­cal Assem­bly and the New York Board of Rabbis.
