Melanie Gall is a writer, the­ater his­to­ri­an, and per­former, who is pas­sion­ate about pre­serv­ing for­got­ten per­form­ing arts his­to­ry careers. Her per­for­mance career has spanned from Lin­coln Cen­ter and Carnegie Hall in New York to Roy­al Albert Hall in Lon­don. Her first book, Dean­na Durbin, Judy Gar­land, and the Gold­en Age of Hol­ly­wood, was pub­lished by Lyons Press in 2022.
