Miri Leshem-Pel­ly is an Israeli author-illus­tra­tor of 17 pic­ture books, 5 of them in Eng­lish, the rest in Hebrew. Most of her books are about nature and ani­mals and she takes an active role in many nature-edu­ca­tion pro­grams in Israel. Miri loves meet­ing her young read­ers and is invit­ed to more than 100 school vis­its every year.
