Mitchell Stern served in the US Marines, has been a police officer, an attorney and, for 20 years, a special agent in the FBI, where he worked counterterrorism, counterproliferation, and criminal investigations, and held assignments at the Pentagon, CIA, and INTERPOL. Stern was the liaison to the Israeli MODCBRN defense agency for several years, and worked with the IDF, National Police, and the Security Service. Shadow Trades is his second novel.
