Mitchell Stern served in the US Marines, has been a police offi­cer, an attor­ney and, for 20 years, a spe­cial agent in the FBI, where he worked coun­tert­er­ror­ism, coun­ter­pro­lif­er­a­tion, and crim­i­nal inves­ti­ga­tions, and held assign­ments at the Pen­ta­gon, CIA, and INTER­POL. Stern was the liai­son to the Israeli MOD CBRN defense agency for sev­er­al years, and worked with the IDF, Nation­al Police, and the Secu­ri­ty Ser­vice. Shad­ow Trades is his sec­ond novel.
