Moshe Arens is for­mer defense and for­eign affairs min­is­ter of the State of Israel. In 1982, he served as Israel’s ambas­sador to Wash­ing­ton. An aero­nau­ti­cal engi­neer, he taught at the Tech­nion, the Israeli Insti­tute of Tech­nol­o­gy, and for ten years was senior vice-pres­i­dent of Israel Aero-Space Indus­tries, where he won the Israel Defense Prize. He is the author of Bro­ken Covenant, Simon & Shus­ter (1995), and Flags Over­The War­saw Ghet­to, Gefen Pub­lish­ing House (2011).
