Born and raised in Haifa, Israel, Nao­mi is a prac­tic­ing psy­chother­a­pist and speak­er. She authored Wrestling with Angels, a spir­i­tu­al psy­cho­log­i­cal analy­sis of the book of Gen­e­sis, and After the Apple: Women in the Bible. Nao­mi taught a month­ly Bible sem­i­nar on Capi­tol Hill for U.S. Sen­a­tors and is fea­tured on Bill Moy­ers PBS series, ​“Gen­e­sis: A liv­ing Con­ver­sa­tion.” Nao­mi and her hus­band, Peter, reside in Wash­ing­ton, D.C.
