Pamela Reit­man is an award-win­ning writer with numer­ous pub­li­ca­tions, and the Direc­tor Emeri­ta of Makor Or: A Jew­ish Med­i­ta­tion Cen­ter in San Fran­cis­co. Behind her — a career in pub­lic health and com­mu­ni­ty ser­vice reduc­ing the stig­ma of men­tal ill­ness. She now lives in Healds­burg, CA, with her hus­band and enjoys lead­ing Jew­ish pro­gram­ming in her retire­ment vil­lage and explor­ing the countryside.
