Peo­ple are rant­i­ng and rav­ing about David Sax’s Save the Deli! I’ll admit, we here at the Jew­ish Book Coun­cil were intrigued as well.

But now Gothamist​.com has picked up on this book, and the appar­ent East Coast-West Coast bat­tle for the best Deli’s.

The Los Ange­les Times proud­ly points out that Sax con­sid­ers LA the Deli cap­i­tal. Many would disagree.
