Rebecca Sugar writes the column, The Cocktail Party Contrarian, which appears in The New York Sun every other Friday. Her work has also been published in The Wall Street Journal, Washington Examiner, USA Today, Spectator USA, Jewish News Syndicate, The Christian Post, The Jewish Journal, and more. She spent 15 years in Jewish communal life before becoming a writer. Rebecca holds a BA in literature from University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in history from Jewish Theological Seminary. She lives in New York City.
