Richard Her­mann is the author of 11 books. He is a for­mer law pro­fes­sor and was the founder/​president of Fed­er­al Reports Inc. He writes a week­ly op-ed col­umn and a legal blog. Her­mann grad­u­at­ed from Yale, the New School Uni­ver­si­ty and Cor­nell Law School. He served with the U.S. Army Atom­ic Demo­li­tion Team in Ger­many. He lives in Arling­ton, Virginia.
