Robert Markowitz has writ­ten per­son­al essays for The New York Times, released three children’s albums of orig­i­nal songs, and played thou­sands of shows. He holds a law degree from Duke Uni­ver­si­ty, and has worked as a teacher, an attor­ney, and a clown. Clown Shoes is his first novel.
