Robert Wein­traub is the author of two acclaimed books on base­ball, The Vic­to­ry Sea­son and The House That Ruth Built. He is a fre­quent con­trib­u­tor to The New York Times, ESPN, and Slate, among oth­ers, and has worked as a tele­vi­sion pro­duc­er for mul­ti­ple out­lets. He lives in Decatur, GA with his family.
