Born amidst rub­ble to two Holo­caust sur­vivors in Wrocław, Poland, Sabi­na went to a Jew­ish school. Exiled from Poland, she was edu­cat­ed in the US in math­e­mat­ics, elec­tron­ics and busi­ness, and worked in Sil­i­con Val­ley before start­ing a high­ly award­ed busi­ness of import­ing archi­tec­tur­al stone. Sabi­na speaks six lan­guages. Her book, Notes from Exile became a sen­sa­tion in Poland; now avail­able in English.
