Shane Bur­ley is a jour­nal­ist based in Port­land, Ore­gon. He is the author or edi­tor of four books on social move­ments, includ­ing Why We Fight: Essays on Fas­cism, Resis­tance, and Sur­viv­ing the Apoc­a­lypse (AK Press, 2022) and Safe­ty Through Sol­i­dar­i­ty: A Rad­i­cal Guide to Fight­ing Anti­semitism (Melville House, 2024). His work has been fea­tured in places such as NBC News, The Baf­fler, The Dai­ly Beast, Jew­ish Cur­rents, Jacobin, Haaretz, and Yes! Mag­a­zine.
