Simon Good­man was born in Lon­don short­ly after WWII and edu­cat­ed at the French Lycee in Lon­don and at Munich Uni­ver­si­ty. Good­man entered the music busi­ness in the late 1960s. After spe­cial­iz­ing in break­ing new British artists abroad, Good­man then estab­lished an alter­na­tive dis­tri­b­u­tion net­work in the U.S. in the ear­ly 1980s. Good­man is mar­ried to actress May Qui­ley and has one son and three daugh­ters. He lives in Los Ange­les, where his search for his fam­i­ly’s trea­sures continues.
