Susan Beil­by Magee sat for her por­trait at age six; fifty years lat­er the artist asked her to write his sto­ry. For a quar­ter cen­tu­ry Magee has prac­ticed hyp­nother­a­py and taught med­i­ta­tion. For­mer­ly a White House Fel­low and Whar­ton MBA, she is the founder of the Wash­ing­ton Cir­cle of Mas­ter Heal­ers and par­tic­i­pates in the heal­ing min­istry at Wash­ing­ton Nation­al Cathedral.
