Susan Camp­bell Cross was born in Wash­ing­ton DC and grew up in Pitts­burgh, Penn­syl­va­nia before mov­ing to Cal­i­for­nia to attend UC San Diego. After grad­u­at­ing with a degree in writ­ing she mar­ried her col­lege sweet­heart. They moved to Los Ange­les and had three kids in less than five years. Cross quit her job as a copy­writer in order to be a stay-at-home super mom, but once the kids were old­er and more inde­pen­dent, she real­ized she’d com­plete­ly lost sight of who she was as an indi­vid­ual. A mini midlife freak out sparked the jour­ney that ulti­mate­ly inspired her first book. Since writ­ing The FabY­OUList: List It, Live It, Love Your Life, Cross has become the lifestyle edi­tor of SHAPE, OK! and Star mag­a­zines as well as an on-air lifestyle expert and com­mer­cial actress. She cur­rent­ly lives in Hid­den Hills, Cal­i­for­nia with her hus­band Kevin and their chil­dren Kay­la, Rory, and Aidan.
