Susan Sher­man was born and raised in Los Ange­les, Cal­i­for­nia. She is a for­mer artist and Chair­man of the Art Depart­ment of Whit­ti­er Col­lege, a small lib­er­al arts uni­ver­si­ty once attend­ed by Pres­i­dent Richard Nixon. Her art­work has been shown nation­al­ly in gal­leries and pub­lic spaces. In the late nineties she became a writer and pro­duc­er of sit­coms and lat­er co-cre­at­ed That’s So Raven, one of the most suc­cess­ful tele­vi­sion shows for chil­dren in the his­to­ry of the Dis­ney Net­work. This is her first novel.
