Tom Wei­dlinger is a film­mak­er-writer who has been mak­ing doc­u­men­taries for 35 years. 21 aired nation­al­ly on pub­lic tele­vi­sion. Con­cerned with social jus­tice, his work cov­ers top­ics rang­ing from the dilem­mas of human­i­tar­i­an aid in Africa, to chil­dren with learn­ing dif­fer­ences. He and his wife Sharon live in a straw bale house on twen­ty acres of Man­zani­ta-forest­ed land in the Sier­ra foothills.
