William Taub­man is the Bertrand Snell Pro­fes­sor of Polit­i­cal Sci­ence Emer­i­tus at Amherst Col­lege. His biog­ra­phy, KHRUSHCHEV: THE MAN AND HIS ERA, won the Pulitzer Prize and the Nation­al Book Crit­ics Cir­cle Award. He lives in Amherst, Massachusetts.
