Yer­ra Sug­ar­man is the author of Aunt Bird, Forms of Gone, and The Bag of Bro­ken Glass. Her hon­ors include a PEN/​Joyce Oster­weil Award for Poet­ry, Glen­na Luschei Prairie Schooner Award, Cana­da Coun­cil for the Arts Grant, Poet­ry Soci­ety of Amer­i­ca awards, Chica­go Lit­er­ary Award, and ​“Discovery”/The Nation Poet­ry Award. Born in Toron­to, she lives in New York City.
