Adeena Kara­sick, Ph.D., is an in- ter­na­tion­al award-win­ning Jew­ish poet, per­former, cul­tur­al theo- rist, media artist, and author of 14 books of poet­ry and poet­ics. Most recent hon­ors include: MEA Out­stand­ing Book Award; ICA Out­stand­ing Book of the Year Award. Kara­sick is a Pro­fes­sor at Pratt Insti­tute and Poet Lau­re­ate of the Insti­tute of Gen­er­al Seman­tics. Her archive is at Spe­cial Col­lec­tions, Simon Fras­er University.
