Alan Mori­nis com­plet­ed his doc­tor­ate at Oxford Uni­ver­si­ty, which he attend­ed on a Rhodes Schol­ar­ship. He is the author of Climb­ing Jacob’s Lad­der, Every Day, Holy Day, and Every­day Holi­ness. Alan is the founder and direc­tor of the Mus­sar Insti­tute, and resides in Van­cou­ver, British Columbia.
