Alan Twigg is a vet­er­an jour­nal­ist and author of 20 pre­vi­ous books. He also has his coun­try’s high­est civil­ian hon­or, the Order of Cana­da, and recent­ly received an hon­orary doc­tor­ate from Simon Fras­er Uni­ver­si­ty. He became the first writer to gain the trust of Robin Vrba (Vrba’s wife) after build­ing a web­site about Rudolf Vrba. A pre­vi­ous biog­ra­phy he wrote, Moon Mad­ness, pro­files a coura­geous Nor­weigian-born physi­cian, Louise Jilek-Aall, an epilep­sy researcher who was the last liv­ing doc­tor to have worked along­side Albert Schweitzer.
