Bar­bara Leff is a recov­er­ing New York­er who resides in San Fran­cis­co and the Russ­ian Riv­er Val­ley. Co-founder of the Casel­li Street Poets, she dis­cov­ered poet­ry at the age of 12 and has been explor­ing the genre ever since.
In addi­tion to poet­ry, Bar­bara has had a num­ber of incar­na­tions, includ­ing health edu­ca­tion and management/​organizational devel­op­ment. She lives with her part­ner of more than 30 years and their brood of four-legged, fur­ry ones.

And God Said…, her first col­lec­tion, was nom­i­nat­ed for a Nation­al Book Award and a Nation­al Jew­ish Book Award.
