Sara and her Bubby find a cuddly toy duck on top of a mailbox. Since hashavas aveida (returning what is lost) is a mitzvah, Sara and her Bubby are determined to find the owner. They cleverly follow clues such as: a candy wrapper stuck to the mailbox, a crumpled up dress shop receipt and a shopping bag full of birthday party supplies, which lead them to the girl who lost the toy. The story is delightful and heartwarming and the clues to finding the list object will engage a young reader. Michael Weber’s cheerful color illustrations complement and enhance the text. The pages are laminated which brings out the vibrant colors in the illustrations and makes the book very durable. A four word glossary of Jewish terms is included on the title page. For ages 3 – 5.
