Endearing illustrations transmitting family warmth and joyful grandparenting accompany this powerful tale of a loving grandfather and the grandchildren who visit him every Sunday. The grandfather draws pictures, invents fun games to play, celebrates the holidays with passion and substance, serves delicious food, and plans other amusing and lively activities to keep them entertained and engaged. Crafts, music, and stories all contribute to maintaining a close, vibrant relationship. Rich Jewish content permeates the pages, adding to the joy.

The grandfather is pretty sure that he isn’t doing anything special. He thinks he is simply an ordinary man. But the children see the magic he weaves into their lives and they know that this relationship is extraordinary. They treasure all the moments they spend with him now and they will appreciate the meaningful and touching connection they share with their grandfather all the days of their lives.

Both grandfather and grandchildren nearly leap off the pages of this beautifully illustrated story, helping readers understand the gift of this special relationship and the enrichment it brings into their lives.
