Con­stance Scharff, Ph.D., is the Senior Addic­tion Research Fel­low and Direc­tor of Addic­tion Research at Cliff­side Mal­ibu Treat­ment Cen­ter and coau­thor of End­ing Addic­tion for Good. She is also an inter­na­tion­al speak­er on the top­ic of sub­stance abuse, a vol­un­teer with Jew­ish Fam­i­ly Ser­vices of Austin, and an after­noon minyan leader at her syn­a­gogue in Austin, Texas.
