Dr. Yosef Gotlieb was born in Cos­ta Rica, raised and edu­cat­ed in the US, and has lived in Israel since 1984. He is a writer of prose, poet­ry and non­fic­tion, includ­ing Self-Deter­mi­na­tion in the Mid­dle East and Devel­op­ment, Envi­ron­ment and Glob­al Dys­func­tion. A geo­g­ra­ph­er, Dr. Gotlieb is on the fac­ul­ty of the David Yellin Col­lege, Jerusalem. His is now at work on Dance of the Uroboros, a novel.
