David Lida is the author of four books. A native New York­er he has lived in Mex­i­co City since 1990. While his back­ground is in jour­nal­ism he has worked for the past nine years as a mit­i­ga­tion spe­cial­ist con­duct­ing inves­ti­ga­tions for lawyers who defend undoc­u­ment­ed immi­grants who are fac­ing the death penalty.
