Deb­o­rah Heilig­man is the award-win­ning author of close to 30 books for chil­dren and young adults. Her pre­vi­ous books include Charles and Emma: The Dar­wins’ Leap of Faith, a Nation­al Book Award Final­ist, Printz Hon­or and YAL­SA Excel­lence in non­fic­tion win­ner. She lives in New York City with her hus­band, author Jonathan Weiner.
