Grow­ing up in Chica­go, Elayne Klas­son’s career has large­ly been in acad­e­mia at San Jose State Uni­ver­si­ty. A trans­plant to the San­ta Ynez Val­ley, near San­ta Bar­bara, she is a pop­u­lar lifestyle colum­nist there. Elayne is the author of the Nation­al Jew­ish Book Award final­ist and best­selling nov­el Love is a Rebel­lious Bird. She and her hus­band David have five chil­dren between them.
