Ellen Fis­ch­er was born in St. Louis, Mis­souri. She grad­u­at­ed Wash­ing­ton Uni­ver­si­ty with a BS in Speech and Hear­ing and a K‑12 Teach­ing Degree. Her teach­ing career includ­ed work­ing with spe­cial need chil­dren and ESL teach­ing at the local Jew­ish Day School. When Ellen’s not writ­ing, she enjoys spend­ing time with fam­i­ly. She lives in Greens­boro, N.C.
