Ellen Gard­ner Gel­er­man grew up on Long Island, New York, and spent much of her adult life there. Her BA in Eng­lish from Indi­ana Uni­ver­si­ty led to a career in adver­tis­ing and pro­mo­tion. Ellen’s debut nov­el won the 2021 NYC Big Book Award in the Chick-Lit cat­e­go­ry. She and her hus­band cur­rent­ly live in Michi­gan. They have two adult children.
