Emi­ly Raij loves shar­ing sto­ries. She has writ­ten 40-plus children’s books and edit­ed dozens of K‑12 edu­ca­tion­al resources and non­fic­tion books. She also works as a jour­nal­ist, focus­ing on local com­mu­ni­ties and peo­ple. Emi­ly is a native of Chica­go, where she earned her jour­nal­ism degree from North­west­ern Uni­ver­si­ty. She lives in Flori­da with her hus­band, daugh­ter, and son.
