At this half-hour meet­ing, we will dis­cuss Scott Nadel­son’s​“Noble,” a sto­ry about a young Pol­ish Jew­ish man in a shtetl at the turn of the eigh­teenth cen­tu­ry — and how his con­cerns about per­son­al lega­cy will fare in the face of loom­ing his­tor­i­cal events.
