Karen Gooen lives in Mor­ris Coun­ty, New Jer­sey, with her hus­band and two Havanese dogs. She has pre­vi­ous­ly pub­lished Search­ing for Bubbe Fis­ch­er: the Path to Mah Jongg Wis­dom, and two nov­els, Small World and Take Two. She has spo­ken exten­sive­ly to audi­ences in the US and Cana­da, pro­vid­ing her humor­ous and insight­ful takes on mah jongg strategy.
