Mar­i­lyn E. Goot­man, is the ​“pied piper” of young Jew­ish fam­i­lies in Athens, Geor­gia. In 2007, she found­ed the PJ Library pro­gram for her com­mu­ni­ty. Over her 35-year edu­ca­tion career, Dr. Goot­man has taught chil­dren, uni­ver­si­ty stu­dents, edu­ca­tors, camp coun­selors and par­ents. Mar­i­lyn is wide­ly known for her parent/​teacher work­shops on how to raise a mentsch.
