Mar­jorie Price­man is the author and illus­tra­tor of many books for chil­dren includ­ing the best­selling How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World, which was turned into a musi­cal. She has received two Calde­cott Hon­ors — for Hot Air: The (Most­ly) True Sto­ry of the First Hot-Air Bal­loon Ride and for Zin! Zin! Zin! A Vio­lin by Lloyd Moss. She lives in Pennsylvania.
