Sum­mer def­i­nite­ly ain’t over yet: August is bring­ing in a hearty new crop of books to read before the kids get back from camp — includ­ing Days of Awe: A Nov­el by Lau­ren Fox, released yes­ter­day from Knopf! And look at the beau­ti­ful book cov­er they snuck on there while no one was looking:

You can see the book cov­er we thought we were work­ing with here. Also neat! The nov­el fol­lows a divorced moth­er strug­gling with her pre-teen daugh­ter and mourn­ing the loss of her best friend, Josie, killed in a car acci­dent a year ago — the moment Isabel’s entire life fell apart.
