Jen­nifer S. Her essay ​“The Codeine of Jor­dan” was select­ed as a notable essay in The Best Amer­i­can Trav­el Writ­ing in 2012. She holds an MFA in cre­ative writ­ing from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Washington.
