Rachelle Gage is the author and illus­tra­tor of The Fan­tas­tic Pups and Jacob’s Extra­or­di­nary Day. She is also the illus­tra­tor and co-author of The Fan­tas­ti­cal For­est. She grad­u­at­ed from Skid­more Col­lege, and cur­rent­ly works as a graph­ic design­er in New York. Her books include themes of kind­ness, inclu­sion, and acceptance.

Ven­tur­ing out of the chil­dren’s book world, Gage recent­ly curat­ed and illus­trat­ed We’re Not OK: Jew­ish & Ally Expe­ri­ences Post 10/7 which includes var­i­ous per­spec­tives fol­low­ing the Octo­ber 7th, 2023 mas­sacre in Israel.
