Sarah Leavitt’s first book is the graph­ic mem­oir Tan­gles: A Sto­ry About Alzheimer’s, My Moth­er, and Me. Tan­gles was a final­ist for numer­ous Cana­di­an lit­er­ary awards, includ­ing the 2010 Writ­ers’ Trust of Cana­da Non-fic­tion Prize (first graph­ic nar­ra­tive to be a final­ist in this cat­e­go­ry), won a Kirkus starred review in the US, and received glow­ing reviews in The Guardian and oth­er major UK papers.
