After receiv­ing her MBA from Loy­ola Uni­ver­si­ty and under­grad­u­ate degree from Uni­ver­si­ty of Michi­gan, Susan worked as a mar­ket­ing con­sul­tant before assum­ing sig­nif­i­cant lead­er­ship posi­tions in Milwaukee’s Jew­ish and sec­u­lar com­mu­ni­ty. She enjoys read­ing his­tor­i­cal fic­tion and trav­el­ing with her fam­i­ly; she is mar­ried to her excep­tion­al­ly sup­port­ive hus­band Ron; they are the proud par­ents of Sara, Rachel, and their for­ev­er-beloved Laura.
