Tod Lend­ing is a nov­el­ist and an Acad­e­my Award-nom­i­nat­ed and nation­al Emmy-win­ning doc­u­men­tary film­mak­er. His work has aired nation­al­ly and inter­na­tion­al­ly on the major U.S., Euro­pean, and Asian tele­vi­sion net­works; has screened the­atri­cal­ly and received awards at nation­al and inter­na­tion­al fes­ti­vals, includ­ing the Sun­dance Film Fes­ti­val. The Umbrel­la Maker’s Son is his debut novel.
