Tony Bernard is an emergency doctor at Northern Beaches and Mona Vale Hospitals in Sydney. Over decades and during multiple trips to Europe, Tony found himself on a path of discovery, eventually finishing his father’s memoir after sixteen years in 2016, shortly before Henry’s death. What began as a journey to understand his father became the uncovering of an extraordinary Holocaust survival story. The Ghost Tattoo won a National Jewish Book Award in Holocaust Memoir.
