A moth­er of three, and grand­moth­er to nine, Jane Sch­er, born in South Africa, has lived in the US for the last 42 years. A teacher by pro­fes­sion, Jane is par­tic­u­lar­ly inter­est­ed in lead­er­ship and con­flict res­o­lu­tion. A soft-spo­ken, thought­ful and gen­er­ous per­son, she has devot­ed over 35 years to ded­i­cat­ed vol­un­teerism with­in the local, nation­al and inter­na­tion­al Jew­ish communities.
