Today, Shannon Sarna, the author of the new cookbookModern Jewish Baker: Challah, Babka, Bagels and More, shares some of her favorite foodie books.
Shannon Sarna is Editor of the popular Jewish food blog The Nosher and acontributing writer to Kveller.com, both part of 70 Faces Media. Born to anItalian mother who loved to bake, a Jewish father who loved to experiment, and afood chemist grandfather, loving and experimenting with diverse foods is simplyin her blood. Her writing and recipes have been featured in Tablet Magazine, JTANews, New Jersey Monthly Magazine, The Jewish Week, Joy of Kosher Magazine, Vinepair.com, Modern Loss and Buzzfeed. She graduated from Smith College inNorthampton, MA with a degree in Comparative Government and SpanishLanguage and Literature and lives in South Orange, NJ with her husband,daughters and rescue dogs.
