He is the cre­ator and direc­tor of the Jew­ish Vir­tu­al Library (www​.Jew​ishVir​tu​al​Li​brary​.org), the world’s most com­pre­hen­sive online ency­clo­pe­dia of Jew­ish his­to­ry and cul­ture. He has writ­ten and edit­ed 22 books.
